A singular archive of objects, implements, and enigmatic artifacts that Bernsteins amassed over a lifetime of wandering and inquiry. Some were deliberately gathered as tools for thought; others were taken in good faith only to reveal themselves as misattributions or forgeries. In Bernsteins’ hands, these things cease to be curios and become philosophical provocations - material clues to how we assign meaning, mistake value, and read the world through the objects we collect.
